I really struggled with writing this part, for a few reasons. First, I did not want it to sound standardized. Second, I wasn't really sure where to begin (I promise, I won't write a book!) Sure, I can list off the certifications I have, so let's get that out of the way. Hi, my name is Joy Orton-Dugan, and I am an Access Consciousness Bar and Access Energetic Facelift Practitioner, Level 2 Shiva Murti Practitioner, Usui Holly Fire III World Peace Reiki Master, Karuna Reiki Master, and breathwork facilitator. And I also connect with and channel higher frequencies of energy that I have come to call Source Energy and Breath of the Monad.
This hasn't always been my path. Prior to 2010, my life was very, very different. In total transparency, part of my life was very dark. I struggled with addiction and came out the other side. I'm not ashamed of this at all because having had those experiences, I have a deep empathy for people who are still suffering with it. My experiences have been some of my greatest teachers. I have learned what personal and spiritual alchemy means and have applied it to my life. That's why and how I am where I am today. My desire is to show and share with people what else is possible.
I am a single mom of a teenage daughter, who has been such a mirror for me to learn from. While she drives me bonkers sometimes, I am grateful beyond words for her and she fills my heart! I have tattoos, and I plan on getting more because I love them. I speak with "seasoning" sometimes when I'm excited about somethings. I love being silly! I will never tell you that I have all the answers for you - you already have those, I can help guide you to them.
I don't see anyone as "broken," lost perhaps, but not broken. I believe in your wholeness and sovereignty as strongly as I do my own, and I will honor that in you when you come to see me.
